OBJECT0810

The form draws inspiration from the anatomy of living organisms, particularly skeletal structures and the systems that support the body. Repetitive elements create a rhythm reminiscent of a spine or a biological mechanism, in which individual components remain interconnected and mutually dependent.
The industrial character of the steel construction contrasts with its organic morphology. The form exists somewhere between a fragment of a body and a component of an unknown machine, blurring the boundaries between organism and mechanism.
The object reflects on the relationship between resilience and fragility. Structures designed to provide stability and maintain the functioning of an entire system are themselves vulnerable to stress and overload. The work refers to the contemporary experience of constant pressure, in which the need to remain functional and resilient often conceals accumulating tensions.
