I often reflect on the destructive impact of humanity on the world and, at the same time, the resilience of nature. It was only in the face of recent ecological disasters that we began to feel how powerless we truly are in the face of nature’s forces.
Perhaps the human being is an entity incapable of coexisting with nature — and we must come to terms with that. Nature, strong and unyielding, will, despite everything, always continue its cycle, undisturbed by the presence or actions of humankind.
